Bootstrap is a framework for creating the visual part of a website or application from the creators of Twitter. It contains a set of ready-made CSS rules that can be used in the project, whereby its responsiveness is based on the original flexbox layout called Bootstrap Grid. It also has a set of ready-made scripts that are often used on websites, as well as complete ready-made components such as sliders or modal windows, styled forms or buttons. The advantage of using Bootstrap is undoubtedly the acceleration of production time, while the disadvantage is the difficulty in creating more unique layouts, and the high weight of the library itself, which also contains unnecessary code. Alternative to Bootstrap include Tailwind, Bulma or Foundation.
