Javascript
JavaScript (JS) is an interpreted, dynamically typed, high-level programming language. It is a multi-paradigm language which can be programmed in an object-oriented, functional and imperative way. Currently, it is one of the most popular programming languages in the world, and is constantly evolving. Javascript is commonly used to control the behaviour of a website/web application in the browser, but is also often used outside of servers ex. mobile or desktop (PC) applications. It can also be found in technologies like Blockchain, Internet of Things, or robotics (such as Raspberry Pi). In larger projects TypeScript is often used, which is a superset of Javascript. It provides static typing, better cooperation with text editors and declaring interfaces for the API on the server side, making cooperation between the frontend and the backend better.
