It is a code formatter that improves its readability. Parses code, enforces the correct style, and then displays it according to the rules that take maximum line length into account and wrap code when necessary.

Prettier provides a consistent style according to defined rules in the configuration file, the code formatting command can be attached to the file save, used before sending Commit, or used in the CI/CD environment.

It provides support, among others: for: Javascript, Typescript, CSS, JSON, Markdown, GraphQL and many other technologies. It checks code style attributes such as line length, trailing semicolon, quotation mark type, and text indentation level. Unlike Linter, it does not check things focused on Code Quality, such as the absence of unused variables, unnecessary binding of arguments, disallowing the use of variables in global scope, etc.
